Ignore ‘lies’ about Akufo-Addo – Rebecca Akufo-Addo

Ghanaians should trust opposition leader Nana Akufo-Addo to deliver if he wins the 2016 elections and must “ignore the lies about him”, his wife has said.

Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo is optimistic Ghana will transform under the watch of the former foreign affairs minister since the “wellbeing of the country has always been on his heart.”

“Ignore the lies against Nana and the NPP and vote for change and a future for our children,” Mrs. Akufo-Addo told a teeming crowd of NPP supporters at the Adenta constituency.

She said the New Patriotic Party has “capable men and women” and based on its track record under the Kufuor administration the “economy will see a turnaround” if Nana Addo wins the December 7 polls.

Mrs. Akufo-Addo promised Ghana will witness “massive transformation” under Nana Akufo-Addo if the NPP wins the 2016 elections.

Touring the Adenta constituency in the Greater Accra region, Mrs. Akufo-Addo assured a teeming crowd of NPP supporters her husband will implement policies outlined in the party’s manifesto and “will provide the necessary structures for job creation”.

“A vote for NPP is a vote for positive change,” Mrs. Akufo-Addo stated.

She assured: “Things will definitely get better under Nana Addo.”

Mrs. Akufo-Addo, who has been touring selected constituencies in the Greater Accra region, visited areas such as Adjiringanor, Ogbolojo, Adenta Housing Down, and Amrahia. She was in the company of the parliamentary candidate for Adenta Yaw Buabeng Asamoa.

She was optimistic the three-time presidential candidate of the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition will embark on policies that will improve the lives of Ghanaians as well as give children a “good future.”

The parliamentary candidate Mr. Asamoa told the crowd: “Nana Addo is a man that we can trust because he is a man who is not corrupt”. He also stated the people of Adenta should push for change and help “bring the NPP back to power, for Ghana to be a better place again.”
