ICU shows gratitude to social partners

The Industrial and Commercial Workers Union (ICU), has commended its social partners, especially employers for keeping its members in jobs, despite the energy and economic crisis the nation is facing.

Mr Solomon Kotei, General, Secretary of the ICU gave the commendation in an interview with Ghana News Agency in Accra to commemorate this year’s May Day celebration which falls on Friday, May 1.

He said the efforts of stakeholders are commendable because loss of jobs of members would have far reaching consequences and gave the assurance that the union would reciprocate the kind gesture by making moderate demands.
