ICGC warns workers not to speak on ‘special offering’ controversy

The communications team of the ICGC’s Christ Temple have been ordered to stay away from media interviews concerning the controversial “special offering” development which is said to have taken place at the just ended Greater Works Conference.

This is according to a report by the morning show host of OXY FM in Accra. The radio station claims that upon their request to contact Reverend Okyere and other members of the communications team, the communication team declined to speak on the matter.

“The communication team of ICGC says they do not speak for Mensa Otabil but rather the Church. So they can speak to issues related to the Church but not personal utterances of the pastor,” the morning show host alleged.

YEN cannot confirm or deny the claims by OXY FM but what we gather is that the Church is currently tight lipped over social media’s buzz concerning the Special Offering event under the Greater Works Conference.

Following a various wave of the narrative surrounding the Greater Works Conference, YEN.com.gh, brought you the true story behind the said controversy explaining what and who exactly was involved in the said controversy.

Meanwhile, some preachers have criticized Dr Mensa Otabil for “wisely extorting money from poor members of the congregation”.
