ICGC suspends Josh Laryea over ‘immoral conduct’

Popular gospel singer and preacher Reverend Josh Laryea has been suspended by the International Central Gospel Church over an alleged immoral conduct, senior officers of the church have confirmed to StarrFMonline.com.

According to the sources, the preacher is being investigated for breaching some principles connected to his calling as a pastor.

A statement by the church announcing the disciplinary action called on Rev. Laryea to work with the committee that has been established by the church to investigate him.

In the meantime, the church is replacing him as pastor at the Doxa Temple in Accra.

“The Presbytery has authorised the Disciplinary Committee to look into the allegations levelled against Rev. Laryea.

“Rev. Josh Laryea is being withdrawn from the pulpit and thereby the Doxa Temple with immediate effect. This is to allow the Committee carry out its work uninterrupted,” the statement said.
