Ibrahim Mahama made his money under Kufuor – Nyaho-Tamakloe

A Founding Member of the New Patriotic Party Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has lashed out at persons within his party who have questioned the closeness of his nephew Ibrahim Mahama to the President John Mahama.

In an interview with Kafui Dey on GH Today on GH One Tv, Nyaho-Tamakloe argued that claims that Ibrahim got richer only after Mahama became President was laughable, adding ‘he made his wealth under Kufour.”

“People shouldn’t push me to say certain things. As I speak with you, I don’t know of a single project that has been handed Ibrahim by the Mahama administration,” he said.

Nyaho-Tamakloe’s response was in reference to an oft-beaten drum of cronyism by elements within the NPP, who claim the businessman continues to enjoy from his brother President.

Those claims he further argued were unfounded, adding he’s proud to have Ibrahim as his nephew.
