I won’t mind working under Mahama – Eva Lokko

The Vice Presidential candidate of the Progressive Peoples party for the 2012 elections, Eva Lokko, has said she is open to an appointment by President John Mahama, so long as it will enable her contribute her quota to nation building.

According to her, the PPP believes in bringing together the varied human resources at the country’s disposal for national development, regardless of their political affiliation.

Speaking to Kafui Dey and Jackie Ankrah on Morning Starr, Friday, Lokko said although she will welcome an opportunity to serve in government, she can’t join the ruling National Democratic Congress.

The Former GBC Boss said she believes entirely in the ideals and leadership of the PPP.

She said although she has learnt her lessons in politics and won’t mind running for political office again, she will wait for the party to decide which individuals represent them in the 2016 elections.
