The flag bearer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, has said the party will not give up easily following his disqualification from the presidential race in the 2016 elections scheduled for December 7.
Dr Nduom was on Monday October 10, mentioned among 12 other presidential hopefuls who were disqualified by the Electoral Commission due to filing anomalies including fraudulent signatures, absence of a required number of signatures, improper filling of nomination forms, among others.
In a tweet, Dr Nduom who had suspended his campaign to mourn the party’s parliamentary aspirant for Klottey Korle constituency, Eva Lokko, said “PROGRESSIVES DO NOT GIVE UP THAT EASILY. WE WILL PRESS ON!”
