I wish I would quit – Obuasi MCE

Hon,Richard Ofori Agyemang Boadi , Municipal Chief Executive of Obuasi has stated that he wish he quits his current post as the chief executive of the Obuasi Municipal Assembly because of continuous riot and bloody attacks by party executives,.

In an interview granted him on shaft fm midday news by anchor George Opoku Mensah (Agudey} on Wednesday 20th August 2014 he voiced out his intentions to leave his post,The Mce was responding to current attacks by party executives on each other in the ongoing picking of nomination forms to contest various positions of the party in the obuasi constituency ,The Two Obuasi constituencies on Monday opened nomination as part of their democratic practice, There has been the emergence of various factions making the whole procedure nothing to write home about,

On Monday ,17th August the Obuasi East Chairman of the party was attacked at the party’s office by unknown macho men perceived to be men from the constituency secretary’s faction,As if that was all another party faithful by name Clement Sangapari was on Tuesday afternoon beaten by men whom he believes are from the camp of the constituency organizer Mr Ackah ,
According to the municipal chief executive all actions to put a stop to the ongoing happenings has fallen on dead ears making his administration very difficult for him ,he said though he is successful in terms of managing the affairs of obuasi as the mce but attempts to calm tempers down and make his party (ndc) a lovely and one family he has failed to achieve
