The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Twifo-Atti-Mokwa Constituency, Mr Samuel Ato Amoah, on Friday launched his campaign for the 2012 polls with a promise to ensure massive infrastructural development in his constituency.
Addressing party faithful and supporters in Praso, he said when given the nod he would tackle the health needs of the people, improve upon the road network, make education accessible and affordable and provide other social amenities such as potable water, electricity and ICT centres.
Mr. Amoah, who won the primaries to beat the sitting MP Madam Elizabeth Tetteh-Amoah, said he had brighter and better chances of winning the seat since he had better organizational skills and was capable of mobilizing people to vote for him.
The Central Regional Minister, Mrs Ama Benyiwa_Doe, who introduced Mr Amoah to the electorates, described him as a hard working person and urged the people to vote massively for him and President John Mahama to continue with the Better Ghana Agenda.
She called on the people to consider the massive development projects the government had been able to execute in the past four years and retain the NDC in power to continue with its development projects and programmes.
Mrs Benyiwa-Doe, however, urged the supporters not to engage in acts that would result in violent clashes and urged them to do their campaign devoid of insults and abuse.
