I will retain Dome seat – Adwoa Safo

Member of Parliament for the Dome Kwabenya Constituency in the Greater Accra region, Adwoa Safo has stated she is going to “double” her electoral figures and that of the presidential nominee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the forthcoming December 7 polls.

“I’m winning massively,” she declared Wednesday in an interview with Bola Ray on Starr Chat.

Mrs. Safo burst to the limelight in 2012 when she won the Dome Kwabenya constituency seat.

She polled 63,373 votes representing 63.75percent to defeat the National Democratic Congress’, Sophia Karen Ackuaku, the Progressive People’s Party’s Ernest Kwesi Anyormisi, the People’s National Convention’s, Abubakar Kwashie Gege Ebla, the National Democratic Congress’, Sam Mireku and an independent candidate, Franklin Frimpong-Manso.

Mrs. Sarfo who is the incumbent MP for the area stated that she has the numbers and that her victory is unavoidable.

Disputing public claims that she is “arrogant,” she said she is “very down to earth” and somebody the general public can “relate to, rely on and trust”.
