I will quit politics if Konadu fails to get 45% in Volta Region – Owusu Bempah

The communications director and Parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Party (NDP) says he will retire from politics if the party’s presidential candidate, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings fail to sweep 45 percent of the total vote cast in the Volta region come December 7.

The parliamentary candidate for Asante Akim North, Ernest Owusu Bempah in an interview with Ekourba Gyasi mentioned the that the wind of change is blowing in Ghana and that Ghanaians are tired of the promises the NDC government made.

He attributed the National Democratic Party’s (NDC) desperation to the fact that it is a destroyed party which has lost touch with realities on the ground. He added that Ghanaians are discerning and are not willing to take chances this time, based on unfilled promises from the previous elections.

“We do not need polls to see that the NDC has lost the impending polls, the wind of Change is blowing which signifies that Ghanaians are tired of the Mahama administration”, he concluded.
