I will live up to the task – Tom Budu

Mr Tom Budu, Akyemmansa District Chief Executive (DCE), has assured the District that he would fulfill his mandate by ensuring the execution of more developmental projects in the next four years.

He said this in his victory speech immediately after the 37 assembly members had confirmed him as DCE.

Mr Budu polled 27 votes representing 73 per cent out of the total votes cast to get the nod.

“I am sorry for whatever wrong I might have done you; I promise to live up to the task to ensure development in Akyemmansa District,” he said.

He appealed to the members to support him to work harder.

Ms Mavis Ama Frimpong, Deputy Eastern Regional Minister, commended the assembly members for confirming Mr Budu and pledged to monitor his performance to ensure the progress of the District.
