Aspiring member of parliament for fanteakwa south constituency of the opposition new patriotic party(NPP), Danso Okrah Daniel has vowed to win extra 3000votes for party ahead of the 2016 general elections. He said it will be the only way to ensure victory for the party’s flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo.
Mr. Okrah Daniel said this at Osino when he submitted his nomination forms to the party executives last thursday which was the deadline for submission.
Speaking to the large crowd after submitting his forms, the aspiring MP urged all his supporters to calm down and wait for the vetting to be over before starting campaigning but was hopeful he would definitely be cleared to contest. He also pledged to do his campaign without personal attacks on his contenders since he will need everyones support to win the elections.
” I would ensure that each and everyone benefit from my work when i am voted into power as MP and however solicite for support of all delegates within the constituency to enable me win the primaries” he stated.
Mr. Okra Daniel was grateful to all those who assisted him to fill the nominations as well as those who have supported him both financially and emotionally.
The constituency chairman, Ntori Adjabeng commended the aspirant for meeting all the requirements as far as the nomination is concerned and therefore appealed to him to campaign without attacking his contenders.
He assured him his outfit will make sure all aspirants are giving the same level grounds in the elections since the winner needs the support of others to be able to win the general elections.
