I will deliver on my campaign promises – Dr. Akoto

Kumasi, May 4, GNA – Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, Member of Parliament (MP) for Kwadaso in Kumasi, has assured the people of his constituency that promises made to them during the campaign period would be fulfilled.

“You have seen the potentials in me that is why you voted for me to represent you in Parliament and I thank you all for that chance”, he said.

Speaking to Ghana News Agency (GNA) in Kumasi on Friday, the MP said it was very important to make available information to the people “who you represent in Parliament to enable them to be abreast with what is happening in Parliament.”

He said development projects such as roads, markets, schools, hospitals, boreholes, street lightening among other things would soon be launched in the constituency.

The MP said it was his vision to implement these projects and expressed the hope that the people would give him the maximum co-operation.

Dr Akoto said MP’s Office would be commissioned at the end of the month to allow the people to lodge complains and worries to enhance the development of the area.
