I will deal ruthlessly with Rawlings if…– Kofi Wayo

Maverick politician Charles Kofi Wayo, has cautioned former president Rawlings to stay off the affairs of President Mahama else, be prepared for the ruthless repercussion which is to follow.

Sounding serious like a soldier on a parade ground, the leader of the defunct United Renaissance Party (URP), boldly stated that he cared less about the way Mr. Rawlings meddles in the political affairs of President Mahama but would want to put on record that he is prepared to wreck the founder of the NDC should anything happen to the president.

In a brief chat with “Radio Gold”, Mr. Kofi Wayo pontificated that the era of ‘military’ interference during elections was over and for this reason, he expects Mr. Rawlings to mind the way he plans on handling President Mahama.

“I want to give a warning to Rawlings also, that you (Rawlings) better leave John Mahama alone…I don’t care about the politics you do with him. But if anything happens to John Mahama, I can assure you Ghanaians that the action would be devastating.”

As the adage goes in Akan that before “a blind tells you he is going to hit you with a stone, he knows what is beneath his feet”, Mr. Wayo revealed that he was “combat ready” to deal with anybody especially Mr. Rawlings should he mess President Mahama up.

“If you have a problem, you solve it peacefully. We don’t want any military guy with a gun going to make any decision during elections”, Mr. Wayo thundered.
