I will co-operate with government in power- Mr Tetteh-Mensah

Kasoa (C/R), Oct. 27, GNA – Mr Harun Tetteh-Mensah, Independent Parliamentary Candidate for the Awutu Senya Constituency, has said that he would co-operate with any government in power when elected in the forth general election.

He said the interest of the nation was his concern, so he would support any programme or actions that would speed up the development of the nation. Mr Tetteh-Mensah who was canvassing for votes at a meeting of ‘Friends of Landlords’ at Kasoa in the Central Region on Sunday, expressed regretted that some unscrupulous people are removing his posters, which was illegal. He appealed to all to help bring to book those removing the posters, which has the symbol of a key. He said when he wins the election; a community fund would be created from which funds accruing would be used for development programmes.

Funds would be sourced from contributions of community members on amount to be agreed upon, and part of the Member of Parliament’s Common Fund would go into the scheme. He said electrification and water Projects would among others be financed by the fund, he added.
