I will be father for all – Samuel Sarpong

The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Nhyiaeso Constituency Dr Samuel Sarpong has pledged to serve not only members of his party but will be father for all the political parties if voted.

He promised to work to the benefit of all the political parties and that he will not engage in nepotism and favouritism to the disadvantage of members of other political parties.

Speaking on Abusua FM’s Abusua Nkommo hosted by Kwame Adinkrah, Dr Sarpong called on the electorate to vote massively for him to change the fortunes of the constituency.

He further promised to work assiduously to ensure that the constituents are united to push the agenda of the constituency forward.

The Former Mayor of Kumasi pledged to flood the constituency with developmental projects.

‘I am going to be father for all and make sure that developmental projects are cut across all areas,’ he assured.

He stated that he does not engage in partisan politics and that his constituents should judge him based on his works during his time at the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA.)

‘I had a good relationship with all the MPs during my tenure at KMA, my doors were opened to all political parties, people should judge me by my good works and vote for me to win the seat,’ he appealed.

He expressed satisfaction that the youth in the various political parties have joined his fun club ‘Dr Sarpong Fun Club’, disclosing that they are the ones campaigning for him.

Eulogising the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) Dr Richard Anane, he said NPP delegates made a grievous mistake by booting the former out during the party’s primaries.

‘They have regretted their actions, they are now behind closed doors pleading with Dr Anane to let sleeping dogs lie, they should have maintained him, he actually meant well and there is no way he will work against his party,’ he claimed.

The Parliamentary candidate for Nhyiaeso constituency will be launching his campaign at Patasi, a suburb of Kumasi on Sunday October 23, 2016.

He called on the electorate to vote massively for him and President John Dramani Mahama to be retained.
