I Was Asked To Endorse John Mahama

Iconic Ghanaian musician, Amanzeba Nat Brew has revealed that he was approached by a company to endorse President John Mahama.

He made the revelation on TV3’s Spotlight on Friday morning, where he was joined by a panel including Caroline Sampson(YFM) and Eugene Osafo-Nkansah (Peace FM) to discuss celebrity endorsements in the just ended general elections.

Amanzeba said he received a call from the unnamed company asking if he would like to endorse the President, while he was in hospital.

The singer who had just undergone an appendectomy said he was interested and that he would get back to them after he had been fully discharged from the hospital. He went on to say that based on his personal relationship with John Mahama there was no doubt that he would endorse him. “I didn’t endorse a political dog, I was endorsing someone I knew personally,” he explained.

He however insisted that there was no monetary reward or promise for his endorsement.
