I spent 12 billion cedis on my campaign – Akua Donkor

Founder of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akua Donkor says she is not a political joke as some people seem to be suggesting in Ghana and feels very upset by such comments.

In a heated interview with Deloris Frimpong – Manso on the ‘Delay Show’ on Viasat 1, the disqualified 2012 presidential hopeful said she has spent over twelve billion old Ghana Cedis so far since venturing into politics (1.2 million Cedis) and will spend more during the 2016 presidential elections. The self-confessed illiterate said although she has never been to school, she has all it takes to battle Nana Addo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Papa Kwasi Nduom of Progressive People’s Party (PPP) and John Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the race for the flagstaff house in 2016.

Obviously angered by the questions from Delay, she cried foul by the disrespect she is suffering from the media blaming them for her woes.
