I remain committed to election promises – MP

Worapong (Ash), Feb. 7, GNA – Mr Benito Owusu-Bio, Member of Parliament (MP) for Atwima-Nwabiagya, has assured people in the constituency that he remained committed to redeeming the election promises he made during the last December general polls.

“I am not going to disappoint you. I will never abuse the honour done me,” he said while addressing separate meetings of the chiefs and people at Worapong, Ataasi, Adagya, Boahenkwaa, Barekese, Atumtuma and Adamso, as part of his tour of the constituency.

The tour was to enable him get adequately informed about the problems facing the people in order to better articulate them on the floor of parliament.

The MP advised his constituents to rally behind the government to deliver on its development agenda under ‘Positive Change Chapter Two’. He also asked them to initiate self-help projects to improve on their living conditions.

The communities expressed gratitude to the MP for the visit and appealed to him to help put into good shape the feeder road network of the area.

They also asked that a clinic be constructed at Worapong to enable them have easy access to quality health care.
