I never said I will accept appointment from NPP – AMA boss

The Chief Executive of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Mr. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije, has refuted claims by a section of the media that he would accept appointment from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

According to him, he is a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) with high sense of commitment and devotion to duty and to the party.

Mr. Vanderpuije, the Member of Parliament-elect for Ablekuma South Constituency, said “I am a man of integrity and know too well that there are fundamental ideological differences between the NDC and the NPP”.

He called on the media to desist from such false publications.

Mr. Vanderpuije expressed his gratitude to the members of his constituency for believing in him and giving him the opportunity to lead them and to bring development to the constituency.
