The suspect at the last sitting requested the court to permit his family to bring him food after he complained that the food he was eating in detention was woefully inadequate.

The trial judge Ebenezer Kwaku Ansah ordered the prosecutors to speed up with the bail of the indictment and subsequently adjourned the case to February 15, 2017.

Mr Danquah Adu was murdered and later found by the police lying in a pool of blood in his bedroom at his Shiashie residence in the national capital, Accra.

His assailant(s) got access to him through his front window on an upper floor via a ladder. He was survived by a wife and two children.
