I foresee Akufo-Addo leading a disjointed NPP – Ephson

Ahead of the New Patriotic Party’s special presidential primary, some delegates have openly declared their support for Nana Akufo-Addo.

34 constituency Chairmen from Greater Accra, 107 NPP Members of Parliament and Regional Chairmen have disclosed that their constituents have mandated them to vote for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo on their behalf.

But pollster Ben Ephson has condemned their action.

The Managing Editor of the Daily Dispatch newspaper claims their open declaration of support for Nana Addo offers him an unfair advantage over his competitors.

He reprimanded them for acting that way and noted on GBC that it violates the party’s regulations.

According to him, he foresees a disjointed front should Nana Addo finally emerge victorious after the 18th October special presidential primary.
