I enjoyed Trade more than Foreign Ministry – Hanna Tetteh

Hanna Tetteh has confessed she enjoyed her previous job as Minister of Trade more than her current position as Ghana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The lawyer told Bola Ray on Starr Chat, Wednesday, she enjoyed the commercial issues, which according to her, “were more familiar” with her current position.

“I think I enjoyed Trade Ministry better than the Foreign Affairs ministry,” the MP for Awutu Senya West said on Starr 103.5FM’s weekly personality show.

According to her, both jobs are “similar yet different” and will always give off her best wherever she finds herself.

Tetteh was appointed trade minister in February 2009 by late president John Evans Atta Mills. She held the position until January 2013. When President John Mahama assumed power in 2013, she was appointed the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

She served as the communications director of Mahama during the 2012 election campaign.
