I don’t owe President Mahama and NDC apologies – Adwoa safo

Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Lawyer Adwoa Safo has said he does not owe anyone an apology for claiming credit for the Dome-Kwabenya Community Day SHS build under the NDC administration.

The MP over the past week, has received massive backlash from some members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), for telling her constituents she founded the school in collaboration with the World Bank.

A claim, the donor agency has since denied. Insisting they [World Bank] only deals with government but not individuals.

Few days after World Bank released the statement, a purported apology letter from the MP surfaced on social media following immense trolling by some NDC members. But the lawyer, through her Special Assistant Dr Emmanuel Boakye has denied releasing any apology letter.

Insisting the MP will ‘never ever’ apologies for the gaffe. Dr Boakye said in a media interview that the said letter is a “ridiculous, complete palpable lie,” adding: “It is an agenda of the NDC.

He said the MP still stands by her words. “I suspect any of the NDC gurus. We stand by it and continue to stand by it. We will never ever apologize,” Dr Boakye added.
