I don’t deserve a doctorate award – Malik Baako professes

Following his open statement on Joy FM last Saturday to the effect that he does not deserve doctorate, as proposed by Information & Media Relations Minister, Honourable Mahama Ayariga, Abdul Malik Kwaku Baako, has further stated that he knows he is not qualified to be awarded an honorary Doctorate Degree by any institution of Higher Learning.

Speaking in confidence with his dead Coffee Shop Mafia, Baako stated that he is not ripe for any such award. “I will be surprised if any University of good standing confers a Doctorate Degree on me”, Malik Baako said.

According to him, if he was not able to complete a simple first degree at GIMPA, there is no way he will accept a doctorate. “I know I am book-short: and happy with where I have gotten to, in spite of no certificates to my name, and don’t want to be embarrassed by any Doctorate degree,” Baako said.

He said, he is not prepared to be laughed at by higher brains who will not accept the fact that he has been awarded a Doctorate.

“If I am able to sit down and write a thesis, I will accept a doctorate. I don’t want a doctorate which will haunt me and make me a laughing stock,” Baako is reported to have honestly confessed.

According to him, he is still suffering from public ridicule after former President John Kufuor gave him a gold chain: and so does not want anymore “wahala”.
