I did not forge my certificate – Sacked Cocobod staff

A former staff of Cocobod who was sacked for allegedly using a fake certificate to gain employment at the Seed Production unit of the company has stated that he never presented a fake certificate.

Mr. Harrison Gborglovor is alleged to have presented a forged certificate which indicated that he completed his degree programme at the University of Ghana.

He was dismissed together with other staff who were mainly with the Seed Production Department of Cocobod following intense investigation by the Human Resource Department.

But Gborgblovor who spoke to Starrfmonline.com stated that he never used a forged certificate to gain employment adding that the certificate he presented was original.

In a rejoinder he issued to Starrfmonline.com, Gborgblovor stated that he has been unfairly treated and would pursue the issue until the truth is revealed.

He explained that “On my application for employment at Seed Production Division of Cocobod, I submitted my own certificate issued to me by Wisconsin University in November 2014. This is after I successfully completed my four (4) year program.

“The alleged certificate was not the certificate I submitted after the interview on 3rd August 2015.

“When my attention was drawn to the submission of a fake certificate, I petitioned Cocobod and Cocobod is yet to reply my petition.

“I still have in my possession the certified certificate issued to me by Wisconsin university.”
