I can’t dabble in partisan politics – Bawku Naba

Zug-Raan Bawku Naba, Asigri Abugrago Azoka II has stated that per the standard of the National House of Chiefs he cannot dabble in partisan politics.

‘This is the proper endorsement I want to make. God willing this year, you will get what you want and become the President of Ghana,” Bawku Naba is reported to have said on the occasion of the visit to his palace by the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

But in a statement issued by Bawku Naba, it said, ‘The Zug-Raan abides by the standard of the National House of Chiefs that chiefs do not openly take sides with political parties and therefore would not want to openly criticise the conduct of any political party in favour of another’.

It described as a wrongful reportage on his stance about the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS).
