I am uniquely suited for Subin – Ayisi Boateng

Kumasi, April 2, GNA – Mr George Ayisi Boateng, one of the contestants of the Subin constituency primaries of the NPP says he is uniquely suited for the constituency seat.

He said he had taken time to nurture himself politically and as a man of the people, worked to bring unity in the party and development to the people in the constituency.

Addressing supporters after filing his nomination papers at the constituency office at Aful-Nkwanta in Kumasi on Monday, Mr Boateng gave the assurance that he would exhibit astuteness in his campaign. Mr Boateng, who was accompanied by some constituency elders of the party, said he did not habour any ill-feeling about any of the contestants and would always discuss issues during his campaigning. He appealed to the constituency executive to conduct themselves well to avoid suspicion.

Mr Boateng, a 62-year-old businessman and board member of the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) stressed the need for unity in the party and called on his supporters to do the same. Alhaji Baba Wala, Chairman of the Subin Constituency of the party, said the executives would work to ensure transparency in the process to ensure that a qualified and winnable candidate was elected. He said the constituency executive do not habour any ill-feelings against any of the contestants and appealed to the aspirants to conduct their campaigns in a manner that would unite the party. Two contestants had already filed their nomination papers. They are Messrs Eugne Antwi and Isaac Osei, Chief Executive of Cocobod.
