I am not running from Police – Prophet Nkansah

Prophet Daniel Nkansah, leader and founder of the New Vision Party says he is not on the run and is ready to submit himself to the Police.

According to Prophet Nkansah, even though he has not received a formal invitation from the police, he will comply with the directive and help in investigations.

“No police has invited me I rather called the regional Police CID and asked him that I have heard on air that they have invited me but why didn’t they call me and he said he was sorry.

“I will go there this morning if they want to hear something from me, I am the complainant of this case” Prophet Nkansah said.

Meanwhile, the Police have stated that they will get an arrest warrant from the court for Prophet Nkansah if he fails to report to the service Wednesday morning.

Prophet Nkansah is wanted by the police to assist in current investigations into a bribery and corruption charges against two EC directors.

He is alleged to have given two EC directors, one thousand, six hundred Ghana cedis as deposit for a ten-thousand Ghana cedi bribery fee to secure his presidential candidature during the filling of nominations.

The two EC directors, Isaac Asumani and Asante Kissi are currently on a police enquiry bail, but the Prophet Nkansah is yet to submit himself to the police three days after the service invited him.

Public Relations Officer of the Greater Accra Regional Police Freeman Tettey has told XYZ News that the police will be forced to call for Prophet Nkansah’s arrest if he fails to show up today.
