I am not here to waste money on APC – Ayariga

Founder and Leader of the newly-formed All People’s Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga, wants the public to regard his party as a formidable one that has entered into the Ghanaian political landscape to make a difference.

He told host of State of Affairs, Nana Aba Anamoah, in an interview on GHONE TV on Wednesday that the party has since its formation in December 2015 opened 150 offices across the country, a feat he says show the seriousness of the party going into the November 7 polls.

When asked by Anamoah if he is not wasting his time and resources knowing very well that the APC would have a very little impact in the upcoming general elections, Mr. Ayariga disagreed.

“No, no, no. I am not here to waste money on the APC. We mean business and we are not going to joke at all.”

Mr. Ayariga, who broke ranks with the Peoples National Convention (PNC) after losing the flagbearership race to Dr. Edward Mahama, said his party has come to give hope to the people of Ghana, especially, the youth, “who are fed up with the existing political parties.”
