Former President Jerry John Rawlings has disclosed that he is hale and hearty and not dead as speculated on social and mainstream media by some faceless individuals.
In a release signed by the Communications Director at his office Kobina Andoh Amoakwa it said “ the office strongly cautions persons who have made it their preoccupation to publish such falsehood to desist from such reckless and insensitive actions as they have the potential of causing harm to family friends and sympathizers of the former president”
He warned that those behind rumors of his death should be wary that they are liable for persecution according to the prescription of the Ghanaian laws if found out.
Kobina Andoh Amoakwa Called on the media to cross check their facts from the office of the former president before going public to avert being caught up with the law.
