Information available to peacefmonline.com indicates that the husband of a renowned musician and herbalist, popularly known as Madam Semenhyia has committed suicide.
Narrating the incident, Mrs. Ellen Semenhyia Acheampong who is also the owner of the Se Menhyia Herbal Clinic at Kasoa, said her husband Mr. Semenhyia shot himself for reasons unknown to her.
The incident, which occurred on Sunday afternoon attracted a lot of people to the scene but could not enter the said room until the police arrived at the scene.
Speaking in an interview on Peace FM Midday news, Madam Semenhia said: “We have been married for 22 years now and have four children but I don’t know what will lead him to shoot himself. It is only God who knows and so we leave it in his hands”.
Meanwhile, the police are conducting investigations into what led to the suicide.
The body has since been deposited at the morgue of the police hospital.
