A middle aged woman is nursing her wounds after he husband beat her mercilessly for preparing what he described as a bad stew.
The victim, Monica Owusu who resides in one of the towns in the Ashanti regional capital said she almost bled to death after her husband stamped her in the abdomen over a bad garden eggs stew she prepared with just GH¢2.
Narrating her ordeal on Obra Show on Nhyira FM Friday, the distraught woman said her husband after eating all the food complained bitterly about the stew.
Monica said an attempt to find out from him the reason for his anger degenerated into a quarrel during which he mercilessly assaulted her.
“My husband was still complaining about the garden eggs stew even after eating all of it so in an attempt to inquire from him what the problem was, she stamped me with his huge boots in my abdomen and I started bleeding profusely” she bemoaned.
Monica said but for the intervention of neighbours, she would have been a dead woman.
