Vice-president Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has cut the tape for the official opening of the Hungarian Embassy in Ghana after 30 years of closure.
Dr Bawumia was joined by Dr Peter Szijatto, Hungary’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, to reopen the Embassy at a short ceremony in Accra.
Dr Bawumia said the reopening of the Embassy is a win-win for both countries, and would enhance the historic relationship between Ghana and Hungary.
The Embassy has expressed its willingness to welcome all Ghanaians who wish to travel to Hungary, while promising a smooth a convenient process.
