Hon Akoto Osei and Atta Akyea not arrested

Accra, Jan. 26, GNA – The Ministry of Information, today said Government has not detained any member of the Minority caucus in Parliament, as is being claimed within sections of the media.

A statement issued in Accra by the Deputy Minister of Information, James Agyenim-Boateng, said “There is no truth in the claim that Hon. Dr Anthony Akoto Osei and Hon Atta Akyea have been arrested and kept in the custody of the Bureau of National Investigations. It is not true.”
