Hohoe NDC wants Northerner Vice President

Hohoe, Sept 25, GNA – Members of the Hohoe Zongo ward of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), on Saturday called on the party to consider a Muslim or someone from the northern regions for the vice-presidential slot for the year 2,000 elections.

This was contained in a statement issued after a meeting at Hohoe to plan a strategy for next year’s general elections. They pledged their unflinching support to the party and the government.

The statement signed by the Ward Chairman, Mr Hamidu Muhammed, said if the idea would ensure victory for the party adding that Zongo communities still see their NDC as the only party that can ensure their progress.
