The Ho High Court has adjourned to 11 April, 2017, the case between the State and the Separatists group-Homeland Study Group Foundation.
The State Prosecutor asked for the date to enable them to gather further evidence.
The State Prosecutor also requested that the sitting judge Charles Agbevor should ban the wearing of designed T-shirts by the study group with the inscription “9the May 2017 is OUR DAY, Western Togoland”.
This request was declined by the judge.
Mr. Kormi Kudzordzi who addressed the supporters of the foundation after the court adjourned, advised the media to report accurately on the issues that they are pursuing.
He indicated that what they are requesting for is the declaration of Western Togoland as an independent state and not the Volta region.
He also thanked supporters who came to the court and advised them to avoid incidence that may lead to contempt of court.
