Herbalist claims cure for cancer

A Wenchi based herbalist told journalists in Sunyani that he could cure various types of cancer. Mallam Seidu Mohammed, 75, said he has been practising for the past 60 years after understudying his father.

He had referral letters from some government hospitals of a number of people, whom he said he was able to cure of their ailment. Mallam Seidu showed photographs of patients before and after treatment to prove his point. He appealed to the Ministry of Health to pay attention to traditional medicine as a credible alternative to orthodoxy, adding that some Europeans and Americans, who visited him, showed keen interest in collaborating with him.
