Herbalist appeals to the youth to shun bad sexual practices

Kumasi, Jan 17, GNA- Alhaji Amen Bonsu, Director of the Amen Scientific Herbal Clinic in Kumasi, has called on the youth not to turn deaf ears on the campaign on HIV/AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Diseases.

He said the HIV/AIDS was spreading very fast and there was therefore the need for people especially the youth to be careful about sexual promiscuity.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency at his clinic at Edwinase in Kumasi on Sunday, Alhaji Bonsu advised people to go for voluntary counselling and testing to know their HIV/AIDS status and to seek prompt medical attention when they are infected.

He expressed the need for herbal practitioners to collaborate to find a cure for the pandemic.

Alhaji advised people against bad eating practices, smoking, alcoholism and drug abuse to improve on their health. He said they must endeavour to eat balanced diets and exercise their bodies regularly.
