HEPSS old student donates sporting outfits

Mr John Ade, an Educationist and old-student of Hohoe E. P. Senior High School (HEPSS) domiciled in the United States of America, has donated sporting outfits worth GH¢4,500 to his alma mater.

The items include three sets of football jerseys, 50 pairs of track suits, two sets of hockey jerseys and several shirts.

Mr Ade said the gesture was his contribution towards the school that made him what he is now and thought it was time to say “thank you.”

He said the items were procured through the kind generosity of students of Gaithersburg and Watkins High Schools in the USA.

Mrs Doris Afari, Headmistress of HEPSS, thanked him for the gesture and gave the assurance that the items would be used for its intended purpose.

She appealed to other old students of HEPSS to emulate his example and urged public and private enterprises including financial institutions to extend their social responsibilities to the School.

Reverend B. Y. Asase, Board Chairman of HEPSS, was optimistic the items would spur the school on to annex more laurels in next inter-schools games.
