Help us to complete teachers bungalows, queen mother pleads

Feyiase (Ash), Oct 17, GNA- Nana Adoma Asantewaa, Queenmother of Feyiase in the Bosomtwe-Atwima-Kwanwoma District, has appealed to the assembly, philanthropists and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to assist them to complete five teachers’ bungalows for the the community. She said the community has spent about 100 million cedis on the project that is at roofing levels but are constrained by finance and needed assistance.

Making the appeal at the commissioning of toilets, she said though the assembly had donated some bags of cement towards the completion of the project that is not enough.

The Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA) constructed the toilet facilities with funding from the government of Ghana, the World Bank and contribution from the community.

Nana Asantewaa said the town’s development committee is finding it difficult raising additional money as fund raising activities had been organised and the people levied.

She appealed to organisations to help them complete the project.
