Health worker dismissed for stealing

New Edubiase (Ash), June 11, GNA- John Sackey, a cleaner at the New Edubiase Government Hospital has been dismissed for pilfering. His dismissal was based on Police investigations, which was corroborated by the suspect. Mr Daniel Ohene Karikari, Administrator of the Hospital, who briefed the Ghana News Agency, said the cleaner had been suspected of the petty theft cases that had rocked the hospital but was left off the hook due to lack of evidence.

However, his cup was full when he was spotted on May 30 heading towards the New Edubiase Township with a bag. Mr Karikari said he searched the bag and found 1,000 tablets of Paracetamol, and 2,000 Multivitamin tablets. He was subsequently handed over to the Police.
