Five Health Centres are to be provided by the Adansi East District Health directorate for the area under a crash programme. The district Director of Health, Dr.. Seth M. Ayih, told the GNA that the construction of the health centres will enhance health delivery in the district. He said there is only one health centre to cater for the whole district, adding, “This underscores why every effort has to be made to ensure that health centres and health posts are opened at easily accessible points in the district.” He announced that the health centre at new Edubiase would soon be upgraded to a district hospital. Dr.. Ayih urged the people to embrace health education and immunization programmes to strengthen their capacity to resist diseases.
