Head of Spiritual Churches Council calls on Chief Imam

Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharabutu, National Chief Imam, has called on Ghanaians to demonstrate a high level of tolerance to ensure that there is always peace in the country to ensure rapid development.

Sheikh Sharabutu made the call when N’Ákoa Prophet Nazareth Ansah Jamson, Spiritual Leader of Prophets and Spiritual Churches Council Ghana called on him in Accra on Monday.

The visit was to afford the two leaders the opportunity to champion the cause of peace and unity especially when Ghana is preparing for another general election.

Sheikh Sharabutu said even though the country is facing energy and other crisis the peace the country is enjoying must be sustained.

He appealed to all irrespective of religious background to contribute meaningfully to the development of the nation.

N’Akoa Jamson on his part commended Sheikh Sharabutu for championing peace and unity among the Muslim community.

He expressed the hope that the two would work together to promote peace and unity among Ghanaians.
