Hawkers accuse AMA Task force members of doing NDC’s bidding

Hawkers have accused some members of the AMA task force tagged as “NDC task force” of destroying and burning their structures yesterday during the decongestion exercise at the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange

The agitated hawkers allegedly mentioned that the old members of the task force, believed to have worked for the past NDC administration have been frustrating their business for over eight years now and since have not stopped.

They further pleaded with the Assembly to take adequate actions against them.

However, Assembly member for Kokomlemle east and head of the A.M.A Rapid Response Unit, Hon Moses Abor has refuted such claims and has assured the public that measures will be taken against any member of the task force who is found guilty of such act.

He also urged the media to help eradicate filth in the capital.
