Hassan Ayariga attacked in Western region; one shot

Reports reaching Radio XYZ indicates that the Flagbearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Hassan Ayariga has been attacked in the Western region.

According to reports, the flagbearer was attacked by some persons suspected to be armed robbers in the Western region where he is campaigning.

Reports indicate that a member of his campaign team was shot in the arm and has been rushed to the Effia Nkwanta Hospital where he is receiving treatment.

Hassan Ayariga is reported to have returned fire to scare off his attackers but it is not known if he managed to shoot any of his attackers.

The PNC flagbearer who has gained immense popularity for his antics at the IEA Presidential debate and the recently held Peace pact in the Ashanti region has come under serious criticisms by some members of his party and the members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for what has been described as his indirect attack on the NPP Flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo.

This is second time the PNC Flagbearer has been attacked by unknown men
