Space FM, Sunyani, July 20 – Tamale South NDC MP, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu on Thursday exposed his ill temperament when he inexplicably banged the phone on Sunyani based Space FM during a brief interview.
Nana Kyei Adoma Samuel(Nana KAS), has called the young legislator for further clarification on the alleged NDC plot against Nana Obiri Boahen’s nomination as minister of state at the Ministry of Interior as reported by the Stateman newspaper.
When Haruna answered the call, he said the NDC is not against Nana Obiri Boahen holding two key positions as minister of state and chairman of Brong Ahafo NPP.
This according to him is because there has been a precedence where Hon. E.T. Mensah, then the national youth organiser for the NDC was a minister of state, while Jake Obestebi was at one time the minister of Presidential Affairs as well as the Greater Accra Regional chairman of the NPP.
Haruna explained that what the NDC is afraid of is the TEMPERAMENT of Nana Obiri Boahen.
“The temperament of Nana Obiri Boahen does not make hin suitable for a sensitive position like the ministry of Interior. He could do better at any other ministry”, he told Space FM.
When Nana KAS asked him whether he personally knows Nana Obiri Boahen, Haruna answered in the negative but quickly added that ” I do not need to know him personally before judging his temperament”. Then the question that exposed the MP followed.
The host wanted to know whether indeed the NDC is ploting against Nana Obiri Boahen. That was when Haruna shot back “Iam not a position to comment on that, bye-bye, then bang!!! Haruna the temperamental expert lost his temper and banged the phone on air.Listeners could not understand the behaviour of the MP was many knew as cool gentleman.
