Hallowed Temple International holds conference

The Hallowed Temple International Church is putting up an electronic library at Madina to cater for the educational and research needs of the community.

The project which is expected to be completed by the end of next year, is being financed through voluntary contributions and fundraising activities.

The Reverend Carl Abode Spencer, Founder of the church, disclosed this at the opening of a three-day conference of the church at Madina.

The conference dubbed: “Generation David” which is on the theme “Serving Your Generation”, is aimed at inculcating in the youth good moral practices, and to also assist them to acquire knowledge on how to go into productive venture and make them self-reliant.

Rev. Spencer said the church was putting up measures which would enable the youth to acquire technical know-how of the work of Parliament.

He urged the youth to desist from all forms of negative tendencies that would ruin their lives in future .

The founder of the church also appealed to religious leaders to desist from selling the word of God, which he said, had become a source of worry to the clergy.
