Gyenyamekrom Embarks On Electrification Project

Kosoa (Central Region), 12 Jan.,

Landlords and resident of Gyenyamekrom, a suburb of Kasoa, are contributing 40,000 cedis each as development levy to extend power to the area and rehabilitate roads in the town. Mr.. Emmanuel Nkrumah-Andam, Vice chairman of Gyenyamekrom landlords and residents association, told the Ghana News Agency in an interview that the decision to initiate the two projects is to support the Awutu-Effutu-Senya District Assembly in its development efforts. The chairman of the association, Mr.. Paa Kwesi Odoom, urged the members who have not paid their development levy to do so for the projects to take off. He appealed to the District Assembly for financial support to augment the efforts of the association.
